    This year’s version of the annual picnic of National Council of Ghanaian Associations (NCOGA) came off at the Roy Wilkins Park in Queens. Highlights of the occasion were performances by Ghanaian artistes such as Grace Ashy, one of the gospel greats in Ghana and Tic Tac, a hip-life show-master who is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his entry into the world of hip-life.     Atta Amoyaw was born in Akropong-Akwapim in the Eastern Region of Ghana the home town of his maternal kin. Mr. Amoyaw is from a bilateral royal parentage; his mother was the late Princess Gladys Okyere from the Tutu-Brempong stool of Akropong-Akwapim, the grand daughter of Princess Yaa Yirekyiwa, the third child of Chief KwameTawia, Paramount Chief of Akropong- Akwapim, and a cousin of Chief Ofori Kuma and Chief Kwasi Akuffo of Akropong. His father was the late Nana Kwaku Amoyaw I, Chief of Kamena Akwamu.
