Wow! What a night Christmas Eve turned out to be. The Accra International Conference Centre simply went ablaze as patrons of Citi FM’s Decemba 2 Rememba abandoned their seats and danced the night away.

They had no choice though, for how else were they to respond to the thrilling hotshots of the ever entertaining 4x4 and the astounding trio, Praye. It was simply irresistible.
R2Bees, 5Five, Kwabena Kwabena, Guru all had unique and interesting entrées to the stage, just as the rest of the pack of high performers.

Hours before the start of the show lovers of hip-life music besieged the foyer of the International Conference centre with seductive white tops and jeans, the official dress code for Citi FM’s Decemba 2 Rememba concert.

The official Christmas party kicked off on a promising note and it definitely lived up to the maximum expectation, shaking the capital with scintillating performances from some of Ghana’s finest Hip-life and highlife artistes.

Decemba 2 Rememba has undoubtedly ushered lovers of hip-life and contemporary highlife music into the Christmas festivities with a major musical bang.

Winner of Citi FM’s Voice Factory season II, Melody begun the show with a sterling performance getting the entire audience on their feet.

The controversial man of democracy: Guru and Fritz were at their best with Kasiebo, Medowo receiving a proper work out.

Then came the comical yet entertaining duo from Tema: Bra Kevin and Lil' Shaker who shook the house with 'Mercy Johnson' and 'Me I wan go Leg'.

It was time for some Fylla as Asem!, togged out in a white cap, black jeans and black T-shirt with white jacket and some blings, released the 2010 fylla on the stage, accompanied in their own way by the crowd.

The ‘U say wetin’ man, Ziggy hit the stage with surprise performances from OJ Black, Tinny, Kweku T and Asem. Oh my God, at this moment the rafters were shaking and I it was the perfect idea to introduce Ace actor and Comedian Super OD to relax the crowd who were in an excited mood.

He may be old, but Super OD still packs a (reduced) punch. He did us the favour of introducing the next act, the man who makes the hearts of the ladies throb.. Kwabena Kwabena!!

Resplendent in a white jacket over a dark shirt and trouser, the Aso man had the Conference Centre on its feet.

The atmosphere in the auditorium was charged as the young and entertaining comedian Bash from Nigeria got the whole house laughing their hearts out. He was soo inspirational.

Other performance on the night saw the new born Ofori Amponsah sing some his hit songs, 5Five with their fast hitting 'Muje Baya', Castro the surprise act on the night sung his latest 'Back on and on' with Ghana and Sunderland striker Asamoah Baby Jet Gyan, 4X4 and Praye amongst other artists who performed on the bill kept the bevy of ladies on their feet.

Decemba 2 Rememba, an annual 97.3 CITI FM event brings together the most exciting and chart-topping hit-makers of the year.

Boasting of the ability to showcase the best in contemporary Ghanaian Hiplife music, this event comes off on the 24th of December of every year.

In its fifth year, Decemba 2 Rememba has set the tone for this year's X'mas, against the backdrop of oil and all.

This is Citi Style.... Chaaaalee!!
